Blown-out Beach

Continuing along with my journey of black and white films... this is Ilford HP5 400, I developed it with Xtol (an unfamiliar developer) and am pretty sure I blew out the highlights by over processing, which gave the photos an interesting look but a little too much for me. The previous post and the next few are all from the same batch of film.

this is a day at crescent beach with some friends...

these photos would look way better printed traditionally, the scanner is making it very difficult for me to work with the images. If only I had a darkroom...

Nostalgia

This was once my car, my father bought it for me and I drove it into the ground for three years before she quit. My 1966 Malibu. This is her now and belongs to my father. She no longer runs for I seized the engine. One day my dad may fix her up but she will never be mine again.
